Handbag/Purse Cake

I have since made a couple of bag cakes ( this was my first) i was very happy with the turnout of this one especially colouring the fondant ( which isnt easy with liquid food colouring) as it took me a long time to get the colour i was fairly happy with. The inside of this cake is vanilla sponge with vanilla butter cream and the decorations are fondant.

Ive been with the love of my life for almost 13 years and Im a full time mother to my son Ethan who has a genetic problem called Charge Syndrome i love my son more than anything, I have always said he is the one thing i did right in this world and the one thing im good at. As he got older and more independent i have had a little bit more time on my hands so i tried to make a birthday cake for my dad. Its safe to say it didnt turn out very well at all but i was hooked. I so enjoyed baking, filling and decorating the cake so i went out and bought some more cake decorating things and practised, 2 years on im alot better, there are still a few things i want to learn but i love my new hobby so decided to blog about it and hopefully get some feedback and advice.
